There is almost no difference compared to projects based on standard CSP based delivery, only that the production approval delivery is provided now internally by the Package Maker and not by Vector.
As long as the project is not registered, DaVinci Configurator Classic will show a PAIxxxx number. This number is a package version number and is not unique for customer and project.
In Case of Support Request
- The Vector support can reconstruct the Custom Package created by the Package Maker (see Roles) with the help of the PAI number and the manifest.
- The Vector support will ask you to register the project and buy a support package.
- Once the project is registered, DaVinci Configurator Classic will show a VEP-xxxxxxxx number. This is a unique number for a registered customer project.
- Different subprojects like e.g., Appl and HSM, will have the same VEP number.
