CSP Delivery
The classic way to get a MICROSAR delivery is to fill out a Request for Quote with the information of all modules you want to order. Vector analyses your request and creates a Quote. Based on the Quote you order the MICROSAR product. Then Vector assembles and tests your product on a similar hardware or exactly on your hardware. The result of this process is a well-tested and ready-to use delivery of the MICROSAR software.
Package Based Delivery
The Package Based Delivery approach combines a very short delivery time with your need to get a well-tested delivery.
With minimum effort you get an initial quotation, and you can access to predefined Vector Packages with a lead time of 3 days between order and access.
You can assemble your BSW packages on your own, you get updates with new features more frequently and you can access updates without lead time and additional costs. You have full control over the used versions.
Your access to all this is the DaVinci Package Manager.
The licensing and cost can be discussed in parallel to the ECU development e.g., when all requirements are clear.
This can be achieved by dividing up the MICROSAR modules in different packages. Depending on your needs, you create your package out of the set of possible packages.
