Issues With Remote Desktop Connection

When using the DaVinci Developer Adaptive in a remote desktop connection, potential issues arise.

Tool Freezes

The DaVinci Developer Adaptive GUI freezes during a remote desktop connection (e.g. Hyper-V VM).

Cause

A large amount of data is contained in the clipboard and causes the DaVinci Developer Adaptive to freeze.

Solution

• Clear your clipboard before using a remote desktop connection.
• Only copy a small amount of data that can be analyzed quickly.
