The Namespaces View gives an overview of the used (C++) namespaces, and which elements belong to which namespace.
Open Namespaces View
The Namespaces View is opened by default and located in the lower right corner.
If the Namespaces View is closed, you can open it again as follows:
- Open the menu path Window|Show View|Other.... The Show View dialog opens.
- Select DaVinci Adaptive|
Namespaces in the Show View dialog.
- Click [Open] to confirm your selection.
The Namespaces View opens.
Toolbar
The toolbar on the top right of the Namespaces View provides the following features:
Link with Editor
Click this icon to let the Namespaces View follow your selection in the Editor and always highlight the selected element in the Namespaces View.Select Executable
Click this icon to limit the shown namespaces to the scope of a specific executable.Hide Interfaces
Click this icon to hide interface namespaces.Hide Data Types
Click this icon to hide data type namespaces.Hide Error Domains
Click this icon to hide error domain namespaces.
Namespaces Grid
The Namespaces View provides the following information:
- Namespaces of port interfaces referenced by the ports of the executable.
- Namespaces of the datatypes used by those interfaces.
- Namespaces of the ApErrorDomains that are used by ApErrors of methods defined in those interfaces
If an executable is selected, only the relevant namespaces are shown.
If nothing is selected, all namespaces and their elements, regardless of executable association, are shown.
