Each Vector Package includes its own issue report. This issue reports provide a full list of issues for all you selected modules and specific configurations. To keep an overview, only the issues relevant for you can be filtered. The filtering can be divided into 2 levels:
- Update of Issue Report for Custom Package
- Filtering of Issue Report based on project configuration
Update of Issue Report for Custom Package

* Optional step / implicitly executed with Step 2
When creating a Custom Package, a project-specific issue report is created which just includes the issues for the selected modules (1st filtering level).
- Initial issue report for the Custom Package
Vector regularly updates the issue reports on the Vector Portal, i.e. there is no live connection to the Vector issue data base.
The DaVinci Package Manager provides information when an issue report update is available. The Package Maker of your company has to download a new issue report and provide it to the projects.
To update the issue report for your Custom Package, go to the Packages view right click the package and select Update Issue Report.
When automatically updating the issue report for a Custom Package, the issue reports for all used Vector Packages are downloaded upfront.
Filtering of Issue Report based on Project Configuration

The DaVinci Package Manager in combination with the DaVinci Configurator Classic allows to check whether an issue is relevant for a project based on the project configuration (2nd filtering level).
- Requires formal annotation of issue occurrence description
This is mandatory for all new issues if issue occurrence is only related to the configuration items and will not be provided for older ESCANs. - Filtered issue report:
Relevant issues are issues that either cannot be checked due to lack of formal description or issues where the check was positive. Irrelevant issues are issues where the check was negative.

There is no license necessary for the DaVinci Package Manager that is needed to perform the checks but there is required a valid license for the DaVinci Configurator Classic.
- As typical PBD user, a filtered issue report can be created in DaVinci Package Manager (see Create and Update Filtered Issue Report).
- As CSP or PBD user with a Production Approval, you can use the command line client of DaVinci Package Manager to create a filtered issue report (see Vector KnowledgeBase article KB0014156).
An updated issue report should be provided by the Package Maker upfront before Project Integrator performs 2nd level filtering.
