The Create... dialog supports you in creating any type of AUTOSAR element.
Open Dialog
To open the Create... dialog, open the context menu of a packageable element in the 
AUTOSAR Model Explorer and click 
Create| Create.... If the Create... context menu command is not available, a Create <element name> command is displayed instead, which can be used to directly create a specific element type.
The Create... dialog opens.
Step-by-Step Procedure
To create a new AUTOSAR element, open the Create... dialog and proceed as follows:
On the Possible Elements page, all elements that can be created using the dialog are listed in the tree view.
Activate the check box of the element to be created.
Below the tree view, specify as follows:
- Name: Enter the name of the element to be created. Note that for elements that are not identifiable this field is disabled.
- Package: This field is prefilled with the AUTOSAR package for which the dialog was opened for or the parent AUTOSAR package of the element for which the dialog was opened for, respectively.
- File: If required, change the ARXML file of the element to be created.
Click [Finish] to close the dialog.
The AUTOSAR element has been created.
