Tools and Frameworks

This section describes the tools and frameworks you can currently use to work with MICROSAR Adaptive, and the use cases each one supports.

Adaptive SDK: Use this to customize and precompile the BSW package, reducing build times in local and CI environments.
Forge: Use this to configure MICROSAR Adaptive as ordinary Python code: define, export, and update your Configurable Unit configuration in a code-first, diff-friendly workflow.
DaVinci Developer Adaptive: Use this if you work with ARXML as an input format: it provides a graphical editor for creating and managing ARXML files, for example before converting them into Forge configuration.
