The DaVinci Bookmarks view displays all bookmarks that have been created via Comfort Editors or the AUTOSAR Model Explorer.

DaVinci Bookmarks Grid
The grid of the DaVinci Bookmarks view displays all created bookmarks.
The grid provides the following columns:
- Element Name: Displays the name of the bookmarked AUTOSAR model element. The tooltip shows the location of the respective element.
- Description: Displays the description of the bookmark. You can edit the description e.g. via the
Edit Description icon in the toolbar.
- Editor: Displays the editor in which the bookmark has been created. The bookmarked element is opened in this editor when the bookmark is double clicked.
- Status: Displays the
icon in case the respective bookmark is broken, e.g. in case the bookmarked element has been removed.
Toolbar DaVinci Bookmarks View
The toolbar on the left of the DaVinci Bookmarks view provides the following features:
Remove
Click this icon to remove the bookmark(s) selected in the grid.
Alternatively, click the context menu commandRemove of the respective bookmark(s) or select the bookmark(s) and press the <Del> key.
Edit Description
Click this icon to open a dialog in which the description of the bookmark(s) selected in the grid can be edited.
Alternatively, click the context menu commandEdit description of the respective bookmark(s).
Add DaVinci Bookmark
- DaVinci Bookmarks can be created in any Comfort Editors and the AUTOSAR Model Explorer.
- Go to the element you want to bookmark.
- Open the context menu (right click).
- Select
Add Bookmark.
- The DaVinci Bookmarks view opens and you can see the now added bookmark.
- Optional: Enter a description of the bookmark in the Description field and click <Enter>.
- You can now use the bookmark within your DaVinci Project.
Remove DaVinci Bookmark
There are several ways to remove a DaVinci Bookmark:
- You can go to the bookmarked element and then remove it via the context menu.
- You can delete it via the DaVinci Bookmarks view and using the toolbar feature
Remove.
- Or you can delete it via the DaVinci Bookmarks view by right-clicking on a bookmark and then selecting
Remove.
Open DaVinci Bookmark
To open a bookmarked element, the following possibilities exist:
- Double Click
Double click on a bookmark to open the bookmarked element in the editor that is stated in column Editor of the grid (see DaVinci Bookmarks Grid). - Context Menu Command
Open the context menu of a bookmark and click the Open in (...) command of the editor in which you want to open the bookmarked element.
