Generation and Validation Toolbar
The Generation and Validation Toolbar of the DaVinci Developer Adaptive can be used to generate and validate a loaded and selected DaVinci Adaptive project in the workspace:
The DaVinci Adaptive project can be selected as follows:
- Open or focus the Project Frame of the DaVinci Adaptive project that you want to generate or validate. The project is automatically selected in the Generation and Validation Toolbar.
- Click the arrow of the Generation and Validation Toolbar and select the DaVinci Adaptive project you want to generate or validate from the list.
The tree selection of the DaVinci Project Explorer is independent and does not change the selected project of the Generation and Validation Toolbar. Only the active Project Frame is observed.
The selected project can then be validated or generated as follows:
DaVinci Adaptive Validation...
Click this icon or press <F8> to start the on-demand validation for the selected project.
DaVinci Adaptive Generation...
Click this icon or press <Shift>+<F8> to generate the selected project. By default, the corresponding dialog is opened to configure the triggered command.
Generate Dialog - Arguments Support for Generators
The Generate dialog of the DaVinci Developer Adaptive includes the following possibilities to define arguments for generators support.
- Universal Generator Arguments
Arguments which are defined here, will be added to the run of every generator. - Generator Arguments
The Generation Step Grid includes the column Generator Arguments. Arguments which are defined here, are only valid for the specific generator.
