Use the [Open Validations View] button to open the Validations View.
Model Scopes Page
In the Configuration of Model Scope Sets area, sets of model scopes can be declared and activated. A model scope set is a reduced subset of the model that only contains specified root objects that define the functional scope of a model scope set. The declared and activated model scope sets are then considered for the validation and the generation process: In the Validations View, the results for the activated model scopes are shown, or all results can still be displayed. The generation is only done for the activated model scope sets. References are vital for calculating scopes, so they are always validated.
Tip: If you select a model scope set, the validations will be faster and increase the startup time. Using model scope sets allows you to validate, generate and test only a part of the project without the constraint that the entire project must be ready.
The Configuration of Model Scope Sets area provides the following functions:
Create Model Scope Set
To add a model scope set, click theAdd Model Scope Set icon. A new model scope set is created and displayed in the table on the left side. Double click on the name of the model scope set to change it. Activate the check box of the model scope set so that it is considered for the validation and the generation process. In the table on the right side, the root objects that define the functional scope of the selected model scope set can be configured. Activate the check boxes of the root objects to be considered.
Click [Apply] to apply changes or [Revert] to undo changes.Delete Model Scope Set
To delete one or more model scope sets, select the model scope sets in the table on the left and click theDelete Model Scope Set icon.
