Installing via Chocolatey Package (Windows)
This section guides you through installing DaVinci Configurator Classic Version 6 on Windows using the Chocolatey Package Manager.
By default, the latest available version of the tool will be installed, ensuring you benefit from the newest features, improvements, and security updates.
Prerequisites

The Chocolatey Package Manager must be installed on your system (v2 or higher). Installation instructions are available at Chocolatey Installation Guide.

Installing via the Chocolatey Package Manager requires elevated permissions.
Installation With Chocolatey
Chocolatey packages for DaVinci Configurator Classic 6 are available at Vector’s External Repository.

Add the Vector’s external repository source to get access to our packages:
$ choco source add --name="vector" --source="https://packages.vehub.vector.com/nuget/index.json" -
Install DaVinci Configurator Classic 6:
$ choco install vector-davinci-configurator-classic -y
Flexible Installation Options
DaVinci Configurator Classic offers multiple installation packages to suit different use cases:
CLI Only
Installs the command-line interface without the graphical user interface. Ideal for automated workflows and headless environments.
$ choco install vector-davinci-configurator-classic-cli
CLI and GUI
Installs both the command-line interface and the graphical user interface. Recommended for users who need full functionality.
$ choco install vector-davinci-configurator-classic
Explicit Version
Install a specific version of DaVinci Configurator Classic.
$ choco install vector-davinci-configurator-classic-<version>
$ choco install vector-davinci-configurator-classic-cli-<version>

Check if the Installation Was Successful
