Prerequisites

These prerequisites must be met in order to start the project migration tool:

  • DaVinci Configurator Classic Version 6 must be installed. The project migration tool is contained in the DaVinci Configurator Classic Version 6 installation, in the directory migration.

  • DaVinci Configurator Classic Version 6 requires AUTOSAR version 4, so used project and BSW package ARXML files must not use AUTOSAR version 3.

  • The migration process is only supported with MICROSAR Release 35 or newer. Projects based on earlier MICROSAR releases are not compatible.

  • If the project is migrated into a new directory, free disk space is required comparable to the size of the DaVinci Configurator Classic Version 5 project folder.

  • If file or directory names for tool parameters contain spaces, the file or directory names must be enclosed with double quotes.
