Forge Convert View
The
Forge Convert view displays all configuration
options for the Forge conversion. When running the conversion
for a specific project, the specified
Forge Convert settings are always considered.
Forge is a textual configuration environment for HPC ecosystems, applying Configuration-as-Code principles to microprocessor development. For more information, see the Forge documentation.
Open Forge Convert View
To open the Forge Convert view, expand your
DaVinci Developer Adaptive project in the
DaVinci Project Explorer and double
click on
Open Project Dashboard. The
Project Frame opens showing the
Project Home.
You can then open the Forge Convert view as follows:

Open the
Editor menu on the top right of the
Project Dashboard and click
Forge Convert View. -
Alternatively, go to the DaVinci Project Explorer, right click on
Open Project Dashboard and select
Open Forge Convert View.
The Forge Convert view opens.
Toolbar
The toolbar on the top right of the Forge Convert view provides the following features:

Show Report
Click this icon to open the Generation Execution Report. -
Show Output Folder in System Explorer…
Click this icon to open a system explorer with the output generation folder. -
Open Validation Results View
Click this icon to open the Validation Results view. -
Give Feedback to Developers
Click this icon to open a dialog in which you can provide feedback about the Forge Convert view. Your feedback is sent to our development team directly.
General Options
Beside the Configuration Options for the conversion, the Forge Convert view provides general information and options to handle the conversion:

Result
This section shows the result state (success, failure) and the timestamp of the last conversion.

Convert
Click this button to start the conversion with the settings in the Forge Convert view.
Configuration Options
The Forge Convert view provides options to configure the conversion.
Generation Output Settings
The Generation Output Settings section provides the following configuration options for the conversion output:

Configure Generators
The Configure Generators section provides the following configuration options in the Generation Steps Grid to define arguments for generators support:
