Tips and Tricks

The DaVinci Developer Adaptive provides a lot of smaller functionalities that help users in their daily work with the tool.

  • Expanding/collapsing tree items with keys
    Use the following keys to work with trees within the tool.

    Expand all sub items of the selected tree item

    Collapse all sub items of the selected tree item

  • Batch-editing of elements

    If you select multiple elements within a form, batch-editing is possible for the selected elements.

  • Auto resize columns in grids

    Use the context menu of the column title (Auto resize columns) or shortcut <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <A> to auto resize columns in grids.

  • Maximize a project

    double-click on the project tab or use <Ctrl> + <M>.

  • Eclipse Perspective

    The Eclipse frames are highly modular; users are meant to adjust their size and placement to their needs. Easy to reset to default: Window | Perspective| Reset Perspective…​.

  • Keybindings

    Open a list of all keybindings by using shortcut <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <L> or via help menu Show Active Keybindings…​.
