Adjust Common Base Path

The Adjust Common Base Path dialog supports you in adjusting a common base path of unresolved references.

Open Dialog

To open the Adjust Common Base Path dialog, select two or more references to be adjusted in the Unresolved References View and click the context menu command ref-not-available-view Adjust Common Base Path.

The Adjust Common Base Path dialog opens.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Open the Adjust Common Base Path dialog and specify as follows:

  • Replacement Area

    In the Replacement Area, the settings for the adjustment of the common base path can be defined.

    • Current:
      This field shows the current common base path.
      Use the arrows on the right to change the length of the path to be adjusted.

    • Replace with:
      This field shows the new path that will replace the previous common base path.
      Click reference Select…​ to select the new path or enter the new path manually.

  • Preview Area

    In the Preview Area, the number of references which are resolved by the replacement and the number of remaining references are shown.
    In the Remaining field, the remaining unresolved references are listed and the elements that are still missing are colored in red.

Click Replace to apply your settings.
