Automation Interface

You can automate several processes with scripts. The Automation Interface helps you with scripting.

General

With the usage of the AutomationInterface of the DaVinci Configurator 6, a user can create scripts, which will be executed in processing component of the DaVinci Configurator 6. AI scripts support many features like:

  • Create projects

  • Update projects

  • Manipulate the data model with access to the whole AUTOSAR model

  • Generate code

  • Executed repetitive tasks with code, without user interaction

  • More

Installation

The CFG6 can execute user defined scripts out of the box. No additional scripting language installation is required by the customer.

Debugging Support

Script projects can be debugged via IntelliJ IDEA. See Automation Build Gradle Documentation.

Code Completion

The AutomationInterface supports code completion for Groovy, Kotlin and Java. CodeCompletion is only supported with IntelliJ IDEA.
