DaVinci Project Creation Methods
Creating a DaVinci Project is the first step before configuring and managing your workflow within DaVinci Configurator Classic. You can initiate a DaVinci Project using several flexible methods depending on your needs and available resources:
-
From Scratch: Start with a blank configuration and define all parameters manually. Ideal for custom setups or new use cases.
-
Using a Creation File: Import predefined settings from a parameter file to quickly replicate or standardize project configurations.
-
Using DaVinci Assistant: Interactive CLI that guides you through creating a DaVinci Project.
-
Using vVIRTUALtarget: Create a virtual ECU project together with vVIRTUALtarget. To extend an existing Real-Target project instead, see Configure a vVIRTUALtarget Project.
Each method offers unique advantages and is designed to streamline your setup process. Choose the option that best fits your scenario to get started efficiently.
