Timestamps in Generated Files

Timestamps are no longer written to the header of generated files (.c, .h, and similar) by default. This prevents unnecessary rebuilds in build systems that track file modification times, such as Bazel.

You can control this behavior per project using the GenerateTimestamps setting in GenerationOptions in file <project-folder>/Settings/Generator.json:

  "GenerationOptions": {
    "GenerateTimestamps": false
  }

Set the value to true to enable timestamps or false to disable them.

Existing projects are automatically migrated when opened for the first time. The migration adds "GenerateTimestamps": true to preserve the previous behavior.
